4. Consultations and Inquiries

Submitting a form, booking a call, or contacting MarginLane IQ does not create a client relationship.

A client relationship begins only when both parties sign a written agreement or statement of work.

We reserve the right to decline any inquiry or engagement.

5. Client Data and Service Inputs

For initial consultations and audits, MarginLane IQ typically starts with client-provided exports rather than direct system access.

Depending on the engagement, we may request business data such as:

  • TMS/load exports

  • Customer, carrier, lane, revenue, cost, and margin data

  • Accounting summaries

  • P&L statements

  • Balance sheets

  • AR/AP aging reports

  • Cash balance summaries

  • Budget or forecast files

  • Expense categories

  • Payroll totals by month, department, or category

For the initial audit, employee-level payroll data, Social Security numbers, direct deposit information, benefit elections, and other sensitive employee personal data are generally not required and should not be provided unless specifically requested and agreed in writing.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that any data provided to MarginLane IQ is accurate, authorized for sharing, and does not include unnecessary sensitive personal information.

6. Confidentiality

MarginLane IQ treats client business information as confidential and uses it only for the purpose of evaluating, performing, or discussing requested services.

We do not use client data in public examples, marketing materials, case studies, or website samples without written permission.

Sample visuals, dashboards, and reports shown on our website use illustrative or dummy data.

7. AI-Assisted Tools

MarginLane IQ may use business software, analytics tools, automation tools, and AI-assisted tools to support analysis, drafting, reporting, workflow efficiency, and internal review.

We do not intentionally upload raw client confidential data into consumer AI tools. If AI-assisted tools are used in client work, they are used to support analysis and drafting; final recommendations and deliverables remain subject to human review.

8. No Guaranteed Results

Our analysis and recommendations are based on data provided by the client, assumptions available at the time, and professional judgment.

MarginLane IQ does not guarantee:

  • Specific profit improvement

  • Cost reduction

  • Cash flow improvement

  • Revenue growth

  • Financing outcomes

  • Business valuation outcomes

  • Operational results

Clients remain responsible for business decisions made based on our work.

9. Third-Party Tools and Links

Our website may use or link to third-party tools, including booking, form, analytics, hosting, payment, or communication providers. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or policies of third-party sites or tools.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, service descriptions, frameworks, sample materials, copy, visuals, and templates created by MarginLane IQ are owned by MarginLane IQ unless otherwise stated.
